This past year, we’ve made important strides in expanding access to student behavioral health services and building the systems needed to sustain them long term. Districts across the county are reaching key milestones in operational readiness, with SLCUSD now actively implementing billing processes and others advancing implementation plans to support future service delivery.

At the same time, we’ve continued to expand direct support for students through wellness coaches, school-based mental health professionals, and wellness centers. These services are helping ensure students have access to timely, evidence-based care within their school communities.

We’re also proud to see schools across the county actively implementing and strengthening the foundation for this work through trainings, collaborative support structures, and systems that help coordinate care and engage families. Together, these efforts demonstrate our shared commitment to expanding access and supporting the well-being and success of students throughout the county.
