Good News: Expanding Programs to Help Students Thrive in SLO County

Expanding Student Support

We’re excited to share some great news about our expanding efforts to support student well-being. This year marks our second year of implementing Bounce Back and CBITS (Cognitive Behavioral Intervention for Trauma in Schools) with an increasing number of practitioners joining to bring these evidence-based programs to more students across the county. We’re also thrilled to launch Non-Clinical Bounce Back and SSET (Support for Students Exposed to Trauma) for the very first time across the county.

In total, these four programs are now being implemented across eight Local Education Agencies (LEAs) by 48 dedicated practitioners who are helping students build resilience, learn coping skills, and find strength after stressful or challenging life events. This important work is funded by a grant from the Department of Health Care Services, and we’re so proud of the teamwork and commitment that make it possible.

Together, we’re helping students strengthen their well-being and thrive—both in and out of the classroom.
